Everything you need to know about working with QuoteEngine and Core Devs Ltd.
Note: These terms outline our standard commercial positions. A formal service agreement specific to your project will be provided before any work begins. That signed agreement governs the engagement.
QuoteEngine is a product of Core Devs Ltd, a software development company. We build AI-powered quoting systems for fencing contractors in the United States. When these terms say "we," "us," or "our," they mean Core Devs Ltd. When they say "you" or "your," they mean the contractor or business purchasing QuoteEngine.
QuoteEngine is a custom-configured AI quoting system deployed on your own infrastructure. The specific deliverables for your project are defined in a Schedule of Works attached to your service agreement. Generally, this includes:
50% deposit is due before work begins. The remaining 50% balance is due on delivery and acceptance of the system. Work does not commence until the deposit is received.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or invoice — details will be specified in your service agreement. The deposit secures your build slot and covers initial configuration work.
Delivery timelines are specified in your Schedule of Works — typically 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff. Delivery is considered complete when we provide you with access credentials, a handover walkthrough, and you approve the QA sample quotes. If you do not respond to the QA review within 7 business days, delivery is deemed accepted.
| Asset | Owner |
|---|---|
| Your pricing data, logo, and brand materials | You |
| Your quote history and customer data | You |
| Your deployed instance (URL, database) | You (licensed) |
| Core AI engine, pricing logic, and codebase | Core Devs Ltd |
| Base trade templates | Core Devs Ltd |
Your pricing data is never shared with other clients. Every quote your system generates is yours. You can export your full quote history and configuration at any time.
We provide a 90-day warranty from the date of delivery. During this period, we will fix any defects in materials or workmanship at no additional cost. We warrant that AI extraction accuracy will achieve 90% or higher on the input types configured for your system.
We do not warrant specific revenue outcomes, job win rates, or that the system will integrate with third-party software not specified in your Schedule of Works.
Maintenance covers hosting support, system updates, security patches, and one configuration change per quarter (e.g., updating your rate card). Maintenance renews automatically each year. Either party can cancel with 30 days written notice before renewal.
Price increases on renewal will not exceed 10% per year, except in cases of material increases in third-party costs (hosting, AI API pricing).
Your system keeps running. Cancelling maintenance does not deactivate your deployment. We transfer API key management to you within 14 days and provide written self-hosting instructions. You manage hosting from that point forward.
Any changes to the scope defined in your Schedule of Works require a written change order before work begins. Change orders specify additional work, cost, and timeline impact. Verbal change requests are not binding.
Our total liability for any claim arising from this agreement is limited to the total fees you have paid under the agreement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost business opportunities.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes will be resolved first through good-faith negotiation (30 days), then through binding arbitration. We believe in resolving issues directly — arbitration is faster and more practical than litigation for projects of this size.
Either party may terminate: (a) immediately if the other party materially breaches and fails to cure within 14 days of written notice, or (b) with 30 days written notice for any reason. See the Refund Policy for financial implications of termination.
QuoteEngine processes data on behalf of fencing contractors. In privacy terms: you (the contractor) are the data controller — you decide what customer data enters the system. Core Devs Ltd is the data processor — we process that data only to provide the quoting service.
| Data Type | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Homeowner contact info | Name, email, phone, address | Extracted from enquiries to generate quotes |
| Job specifications | Fence type, footage, gates, terrain | Extracted to calculate pricing |
| Contractor business info | Company name, logo, rate card, payment terms | Used to configure and brand the system |
| Quote output data | Generated PDF quotes and pricing history | Stored in your deployment for your records |
All data is stored in your own deployment — your database, your infrastructure. Core Devs Ltd does not maintain a central database of customer data across clients. Your data is isolated and accessible only to your system.
QuoteEngine uses AI language models (via API) to extract job details from customer messages. The text of the customer enquiry is sent to the AI provider for processing. We use providers that do not retain input data for training purposes. No customer data is sold, shared, or used for advertising.
You can export your full quote history and customer data at any time via the dashboard (CSV format) or configuration data (JSON format). If a homeowner requests deletion of their data, you can remove it directly from your system.
If you operate in California or serve California customers, you may have obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). As your data processor, we will contractually support your compliance.
This website (getquoteengine.com) does not use tracking cookies, does not run third-party advertising scripts, and does not sell visitor data. If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting solution and update this policy.

We want every engagement to be straightforward and fair. Here is exactly what happens financially in every scenario:
If you cancel before any build work has commenced, your 50% deposit is fully refundable.
If you cancel after the build has commenced, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. This is because configuration work, rate card setup, and system provisioning have already been completed using your deposit. The remaining 50% balance is not charged.
If Core Devs Ltd cancels the engagement before the build has commenced, your deposit is refunded in full.
Maintenance is billed annually. If you cancel maintenance mid-term, no pro-rata refund is provided for the remaining period. Your system continues to operate — cancelling maintenance does not shut anything down.
If Core Devs Ltd cancels maintenance, we provide a pro-rata refund for the remaining period and give you 90 days notice to arrange alternatives.
If a defect is found within the 90-day warranty period, our obligation is to repair or replace the defective component at no cost — not to issue a refund. We fix it.
| Scenario | Deposit | Balance |
|---|---|---|
| You cancel before build starts | Full refund | Not charged |
| You cancel after build starts | Non-refundable | Not charged |
| We cancel before build starts | Full refund | Not charged |
| Delivery completed successfully | Applied to project | Due on delivery |
| Warranty defect found | N/A | We repair at no cost |
